These terms apply to all bookings made for Oord Nebo Holiday & Fishing Resort and Modini Guest Lodge & Resort (“we”, “us”, “the resort”), whether made online, by phone, by email or in person. By completing a booking you confirm that you have read and accept these terms, our Cancellation & Refund Policy, our Resort Rules and our Privacy Policy.

1. Bookings & payment

  • Online bookings are only confirmed once full payment has been received via our secure payment provider, Yoco. You will receive a confirmation email and invoice once your payment is successful.
  • Your selected dates are held for a limited time while you complete payment. If payment is not completed in time, the dates are released.
  • Bookings made by phone are reserved on the terms agreed with our staff. If a payment link is sent, the booking is only guaranteed once paid before the link expires.
  • All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR). Rates differ between peak and off-peak periods and are calculated per night (accommodation), per day (venues) or per person (day visitors and camping) as shown during booking.
  • We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors. If this affects your booking we will contact you before making any change, and you may cancel for a full refund.

2. Check-in, check-out & occupancy

  • Check-in and check-out times are shown on your booking confirmation. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may carry a charge.
  • The number of guests may not exceed the maximum occupancy of the booked unit, camp site or venue. Additional guests may be refused entry or charged at the applicable rate.
  • The main guest must be 18 years or older and must present a valid ID or passport on arrival.
  • Day visitors must leave the resort by the published closing time.

3. Venue hire

  • Venue bookings are for the booked date(s) and the agreed times only. Set-up and clean-up times must be arranged with management in advance.
  • The person making the booking is responsible for the conduct of all event guests and for any damage caused.
  • Music and noise must comply with the resort rules and local by-laws.

4. Damage & liability

  • Guests are liable for any loss of or damage to resort property caused by themselves, their children or their visitors, and will be charged the cost of repair or replacement.
  • Guests use all resort facilities, including the swimming pool, fishing areas, playground and mini golf, entirely at their own risk. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
  • To the extent permitted by law, the resort, its owners and staff are not liable for any injury, loss, theft or damage to persons, vehicles or belongings, however caused.

5. Right of admission

Right of admission is reserved. We may ask any guest who breaks the resort rules, behaves in an unsafe or disruptive manner or damages property to leave the premises, without a refund.

6. Changes by the resort

If we must cancel or materially change your booking due to circumstances beyond our control (such as severe weather, water or power outages, or other force majeure events), we will offer alternative dates or a full refund of the amount paid.
