We respect your privacy and process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). This policy explains what we collect when you book or enquire, and how we use it.

Information we collect

  • Contact details: name, email address, phone number and address.
  • Booking details: dates, number of guests, units booked, arrival time and special requests.
  • Identification and security details: ID or passport number and vehicle registration, which we need for access control and guest safety on the property.
  • Payment information is processed securely by our payment provider, Yoco. We do not see or store your card details.

How we use it

  • To process, confirm and manage your booking, and to send confirmations, invoices and reminders.
  • To manage guest access and safety at the resort.
  • To comply with legal, tax and accounting requirements.
  • We do not sell your information and do not send you marketing without your consent.

Sharing

We only share personal information with service providers who help us run the booking service (such as our payment provider Yoco, website hosting and email delivery), under confidentiality obligations, or where the law requires it.

Retention & security

Booking records are kept for as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal record-keeping requirements (normally 5 years for financial records). We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or object to its processing, by emailing bookings@oordnebo.co.za. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).
